You are invited by the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) to a ceremony
for the drawing of the first position on the ballot paper for the 2006
Municipal Elections.
The IEC will also release a provisional list of those political parties and
independent candidates who will be taking part in the forthcoming municipal
elections to take place on Wednesday, 1 March 2006.
In terms of the election timetable, political parties and independent
candidates who wish to participate in the elections have until 17:00 on
Thursday, 19 January 2006, to submit their nominations and to pay the required
deposit.
