The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (Icasa) has issued
a notice of its intention to make regulations setting out a Code of Conduct for
the electronic communications, broadcasting and postal services.
The setting out of a code of conduct is in terms of section 69 of the
Electronic Communications Act No 36 of 2005. Icasa would like to call on all
interested persons and organisations to submit written comments or
representations on the proposed regulations.
Comments should be submitted in both the hardcopy and soft copy formats.
Such comments and presentations should be forwarded to the following, by no
later than 16h00 on 20 July 2007:
