Harare, Zimbabwe
20 November 2006
The Minister of Communications, Dr Ivy Matsepe-Casaburri, will lead a South
African delegation to a fourth SADC meeting of Information and Communications
Technology (ICT) Ministers, to be held in Harare, Zimbabwe, on 21 to 23
November 2006.

background.

Sector Strategic Plan which was approved in 2005. The meeting will also
consider and approve proposed projects that the SADC Region plans to implement
in the coming years.
The meeting will be preceded by a senior officials' gathering, South Africa
will present its position on regional Telecommunications, ICTs and Postal
