In a major step towards helping to transform the construction industry, the
Gauteng MEC for Public Transport, Roads and Works, Ignatius Jacobs, will launch
two help centres aimed at empowering emerging contractors.
The facilities will provide shared services and equipments on top enable
fledgling businesses to receive training and development, helping to increase
their participation in the industry. Ten other such construction contact
centres will be launched throughout Gauteng in the long run.
