Once upon a time there was a lunch box

16 November 2006

Reading, writing and arithmetic: those are the cornerstones of learning and
what better way to learn to read and write than writing your own stories.

KwaZulu-Natal Education MEC Ina Cronje realised the power of the writing
your own word and initiated a writing competition for the children of
KwaZulu-Natal. The theme was SCHOOL and although guidelines were given children
could use their own interpretation.

On 17 November 2006 MEC Cronje will crown the winners in three language
categories.
