Home Affairs Procurement Director on suspension

The Department of Home Affairs today, 18 September 2007, announced the
suspension of a senior official of the department.
The Director of Procurement in the department has been suspended with
immediate effect from her duties pending an investigation into financial
irregularities. The department will not engage further with the media until
such time that the process has been finalised.
