The Department of Home Affairs invites members of the media to the first
Foreign Office Conference to be held at the Birchwood Hotel from 5 to 8
February 2006.
The objective of the conference is to promote the vision of the Department
of Home Affairs on consular operations abroad. The conference will also promote
interaction on issues and the understanding of the consular mandates as
promulgated by the Department of Home Affairs.
Deputy President Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka will deliver the keynote address at
a dinner on Sunday, 5 February 2006.
