South Africa will join other Southern African Development Community (SADC)
members to commemorate Malaria Day on 16 November 2007.
The commemoration takes place at Thulamahashe Sports Ground, in the
Bushbuck-Ridge district, Mpumalanga. The focus this year is on indoor residual
house spraying with insecticides, the main strategy for malaria prevention and
control used in South Africa.
