North West MEC for Public Works, honourable Howard Yawa is continuing to
deliver on government�s commitment to phase out the "learners under trees"
phenomenon. MEC Yawa will hand over the newly built Imfundo Secondary School at
Kokosi Township in the Merafong Local Municipality at the official opening on
Friday, 8 September 2006.
The R 7,9 million Imfundo Secondary school building project consists of 18
classrooms, 2 blocks of toilets, an administration block, and science
laboratory. MEC Yawa will hand over the school to the provincial MEC for
Education honourable Reverend OJ Tselapedi who will in turn open the school
officially.
