North West MEC for Public Works, Honourable Howard Yawa, will hand over the
R2,6 million Itsoseng Clinic to the Department of Health and, together with the
Premier and the MEC for Health, turn sod for the commencement of a R70 million
health centre on Monday, 24 April 2006, in Itsoseng Township near
Lichtenburg.
Both events precede a community meeting to be held at the Itsoseng Stadium
as from 14h00 as part the North West Province's Exco Imbizo. The Imbizo to be
held under the theme "Age of Hope: A national effort for faster and shared
growth is hosted by the Central District Municipality in collaboration with the
Ditsobotla Local Municipality and will afford members of the community an
opportunity to interact with government representatives.
Members of the media are invited to cover the events to commence at 12h00
and 12h50 respectively.
