The Department of Finance and Economic Affairs through its Consumer Affairs
office is celebrating World Consumer Right Day.
The event will mark the celebrations of consumer rights under the theme "The
Right to Consumer Education".
In addition, the consumer curriculum for grades eight and nine will be
launched and handed over to the Gauteng Department of Education.
Members of the media are invited to attend the celebration.

Venue: Tholulwazi Secondary School, Tsakane, Brakpan
Media will be afforded an opportunity to interview the Gauteng Consumer
Protector and the Chief Director of the Gauteng Consumer Affairs Office.
