(RCL) Lekgotla

The Gauteng Department of Education will tomorrow host the second provincial
Representative Council of Learners Lekgotla. RCL presidents from all Gauteng
schools enrolling grade 8 and higher and officials from the Department of
Education will be attending.
Purpose of the RCL Lekgotla:
* to give the outgoing provincial committee through its presidency a
platform to report to all school presidents about the progress during their
term of office
* to give a platform to the outgoing leadership to make recommendations
* to provide a springboard from which the RCL programmes for the next year will
be launched.
