Gauteng Education condemns disruptive action by Cosas

The Gauteng Department of Education notices with dismay the action taken by
Congress of South Africa Students (Cosas) to disrupt normality of schools in
Soweto.
"I am extremely disturbed by the disruptions of schools especially on the
eve of matric examinations. I will request my district officials to arrange
catch-up programmes for the affected learners especially the grade 12
learners," said MEC for Education Angie Motshekga.
