The Gauteng government and other stakeholders will on Friday and Saturday 27
and 28 October 2006, conduct an economic opportunities road show in
Hammanskraal, Tshwane.
The road shows which have already travelled to Ivory Park, Swanieville and
Daveyton are aimed at empowering people with information on income generating
opportunities, tendering, business support, training and a variety of other
information that will assist Gauteng residents in benefiting from the economic
opportunities in the province.
The road show consists of a series of two-day events where government and
other agencies talk directly to residents to empower them on how to improve
their access to the economy. The road shows are in line with Premier Mbhazima
Shilowa's commitment to promote shared growth and ensure a wider section of
Gauteng's people benefit from the province's economic growth.
