As the Global Forum Five on Fighting Corruption and Safeguarding Integrity
hosted by the South African government from 2 to 5 April 2007 draws to an end,
Minister for the Public Service and Administration and Chairperson of the
Forum, Ms Geraldine Fraser-Moleketi, will brief the media on the outcomes of
the conference and the adopted declaration.
The Forum was attended by ministers and senior officials as well as
representatives of state bodies from over a 100 countries. Representatives
included dignitaries and experts from international organisations such as the
African Union (AU) Commission, the New Partnership for Africa's Development
(NEPAD) Secretariat, the United Nations (UN) and its agencies, the European
Union and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development
(OECD).
Media are also invited to the Presentation of the Global Forum Five Report,
the adoption of the declaration and the closing address of the Forum.
