Association for Public Administration and Management (CAPAM)

Minister Geraldine Fraser-Moleketi has been elected President of the CAPAM
at its 2006 Biennial Conference currently underway in Sydney, Australia.
CAPAM is an international association of senior public sector practitioners
who seek opportunities for professional networking and learning, to improve
their capacity to provide excellent public service. CAPAM programmes strengthen
the quality and effectiveness of public administration and advance good
governance in Commonwealth countries.
Minister Fraser-Moleketi will address the conference on its last day, 25
October 2006, in her capacity as President and will among other issues deal
with the programmes that CAPAM will undertake during her two year
presidency.
Minister Fraser-Moleketi also serves as the Vice-President of the United
Nations Committee of Experts on Public Administration (UNCEPA).
