Phiri's tragic accident

The Free State Department of Sport, Arts and Culture is saddened by the
death of Ms Yvonne Phiri who was an athlete of fine stature. Ms Phiri died
tragically in a car accident. Ms Phiri was actively involved in sport matters
as a netball player and has contributed immensely to the advancement of netball
in the Free State.
The department would like to express its condolences to the family and those
affected by her death. May the mercy of God grace the family, relatives and
friends of Ms Phiri at this time of sorrow.
May her soul find eternal peace.
