Ethics Committee clears P Mlambo-Ngcuka

The office of the Presidency has welcomed the findings of the Joint
Committee on Ethics and Members’ Interest on the alleged non-disclosure of
interests in Lesila Burial Society by the Deputy President.

“Based on the information received the committee found that as there was no
intention of financial gain in the establishment of the Lesila Burial Society,
there was no breach of the code of conduct for members of parliament,” said
Fazilla Mohammed, Registrar of Members’ Interests.
