Statement regarding the Richtersveld/Alexkor enquiry

The Minister of Public Enterprises, Mr Alec Erwin, met with the Richtersveld
Community (RVC) this morning, 13 March 2007, as part of an ongoing negotiation
to reach an agreement regarding their land claim. The meeting was constructive
and there will be further discussions, which will be announced in due
course.
We will continue to update and inform the public, and all interested
stakeholders of developments, as they progress.
