The National Heads of Department Forum for Secretariats of Safety and
Security will be hosted by the Eastern Cape on Monday 12 November 2007 at the
Holiday Inn Garden Court in Port Elizabeth.
The forum has invited the Chief Security Officer for the 2010 Local
Organising Committee Mr Linda Mti with a purpose of discussing the strategies
for the 2010 Federation Football International Association (Fifa) World Cup and
the readiness of provinces throughout the country.
At 11h00, the forum will convene a press conference together with Mr Mti to
provide a National 2010 Safety and Security Readiness report.
