Postponed 'leaked' exam paper written

The Health Department has confirmed that the allegedly 'leaked' midwifery
paper one examination was written on 22 October 2007.

The department postponed the examination which was supposed to be written on
10 October 2007 after it was alerted of an alleged leak.

The examination went on without any hassles, said Z Ngele, the Head of
Lilitha Nursing College.

"The department had promised not to inconvenience the students and to seek a
speedy resolution to the problem, and we have done just that," said Siyanda
Manana, Health Communications Head.

Manana went on to commend the department's officials for the efficient and
prompt manner in which they handled the whole saga.

"The department's investigation is still ongoing and we foresee a speedy
resolution to this problem," he added.
