The Directorate: Quality assurance within the national Department of Health
will be hosting the second Healthcare Quality Month Seminar on 3 November at
the Emperor's Palace Hotel in Kempton Park, close to the Johannesburg
International Airport.
The objective of the seminar will be to stimulate and motivate healthcare
workers to continue to put quality improvement systems in place in their
institutions and facilities. The focus for this year's quality month activities
will be around healthcare associated infections. The theme is "Clean care is
safer care."
The preferred delegates will be healthcare workers involved in healthcare
quality management, CSSD managers, infection control officers, environmental
health practitioners, occupational health practitioners, surveillance
officers.
