The Deputy Minister of Education, Mr Ever Surty, will on Friday, 12 January
2007, visit Thomas Nhlabathi Secondary School (Dinaledi School) and
Thistlegroove Secondary School in the Mpumalanga Province, as part of obtaining
first-hand experience on the readiness of schools for the first term of
2007.
The MEC for Education in Mpumalanga, Mr Siphosezwe Masango and senior
departmental officials will accompany the Deputy Minister.

08h00: Deputy Minister and MEC address learners at the assembly

09h30: Deputy Minister's entourage departs for Thistlegroove Secondary
School
10h10: The Principal of Thistlegroove Secondary School, Mr M A Nzece, receives
the Deputy Minister's entourage
10h30: Deputy Minister's entourage meets with the School Management Team and
School Governing Body
11h30: Deputy Minister and MEC address learners at the assembly
12h30: Deputy Minister's entourage takes leave of the school.
