The Western Cape Premier, Ebrahim Rasool, will launch the Premier's Cup in
honour of young rugby players from the MMRA. This event will be attended by
senior administrators from the Western province Rugby Union; players from the
MMRA who have recently completed a successful tour of Malaysia; former
provincial rugby greats such as Cassiem Jabaar, Sam Dube, Cheeky Watson, etc.;
the Western province/ Stormers captain Luke Watson; the most prolific Western
province try scorer Egon Seconds; and some of the Under-21 Western province
rugby players.

This event is in line with the Premier's "Home for All" vision. The rugby
tournament will take place in Khayelitsha, 29 April 2007.
