The Western Cape Education Department (WCED) has the pleasure of inviting
you to the official launch of the No-Fee School programme in the province.
Date: Monday, 19 June 2006
Time: 10h30 for 11h00
Venue: Paulus Joubert Primary School, Beukes Street, Paarl
Paulus Joubert Primary is one of 419 schools that have opted for no-fee
status in the Western Cape. The Premier Ebrahim Rasool will present a cheque to
the Principal of Paulus Joubert on this occasion, to cover school fees for all
the learners at the school in 2006.
The No-Fee Schools Programme is one of the WCED's deliverables required by
the Premier's 2006 Siyabulela campaign. The WCED will provide further
information on the implementation of the no-fee schools policy at the
event.
