The Premier, Ebrahim Rasool, will give a report on the fund allocation by
the National Treasury for flood affected areas in response to requests by the
National Disaster Management Centre. The Eden District was declared a local
disaster area in September after disastrous flooding events occurred in the
Cape Winelands, Overberg, Eden and Central Karoo District Municipalities.
