Members of the media are invited to the book launch which will take place
under the following:

The Minister in the Presidency, Dr Essop Pahad, will deliver the keynote
address at the launch. A member of the June 16 Foundation will also make a
statement on what really happened on that fateful day, 30 years ago.
The book titled," Our Youth For Life", has been developed by the National
Youth Commission (NYC), in partnership with the June 16 Foundation and Highbury
Safika Media as part of the activities to commemorate the 30th Anniversary of
the Soweto and connected uprisings of 16 June 1976.
The NYC Chairperson, Nomi Nkondlo, will also make a statement of commitment
to the emancipation of young women as the country commemorates the 50th
Anniversary of the Women's March to the Union Buildings.
