The North West provincial government has welcomed the recent results of the
Markinor survey, which rated the North West province the second best performing
province in the country.
In particular, the survey indicates that the North West performed better
than all the nine provinces in the areas of education provision, social service
payments and basic health services. The significance of the survey resides in
the fact that, it is the people of the North West themselves who are saying the
provincial government is performing very well.
The Office of the Premier has organised a thanksgiving function where the
Premier will thank our dedicated and loyal public servants on whose shoulders
lie the dream of translating the goal of a better life for all into
reality.
