Premier Edna Molewa and people of the North West Province would like to join
South Africa and the rest of the world in wishing former President Nelson
Mandela a happy and enjoyable 88th birthday.
Tata Rolihlahla Nelson Mandela we are proud to have a father and political
visionary like yourself. Your leadership, selflessness and sacrifices you made
for this nation are an indelible mark that will never be erased in our minds
and indeed our lives.
You inspire us as a nation. Your charisma, a gift only God could bestow on
you, shines like a beacon of light in our lives. South Africans will never
cease to sing your praises. We hail your contribution in ensuring the
restoration of the dignity of the majority of South Africans.
Your spirit of volunteerism and the fight for freedom are evident in our
country. We are a free nation. We have taken our rightful place on the world
centre stage. Let us pray our youth and the coming generations emulate your
gallantry for the advancement of South Africa.
Today the whole world looks up to South Africa for leadership and support.
We salute you.
On your birthday, relax and enjoy the warmth of those who love you!
