South Africa commemorates Day of the African Child

Members of the media are invited to the commemoration of Day of the African
Child to be held in the North West. Day of the African Child is the brainchild
of the African Union and targets children in rural areas, informal settlements
and farming communities.
Premier of the North West, Mrs Edna Molewa will deliver a keynote address at
the event. In attendance will be children from other African countries,
especially in the Southern African Development Community region.
