Jet fuel spillage at Air Force Base Waterkloof

The South African Air Force (SAAF) confirms that a jet A1 fuel spillage was
experienced at Air Force Base Waterkloof on Thursday, 6 July 2006.
The fuel spillage was contained within Air Force Base Waterkloofâs perimeter
and therefore does not pose any danger to the surrounding areas and the
environment.
Investigations are currently underway to establish circumstances that led to
the fuel spillage.
