D Peters released from hospital

The Northern Cape Premier, Mme Dipuo Peters, has been released from the
Kimberley Hospital Complex following an abdominal surgery.

Premier Peters has been inundated with calls and visits from members of the
public and national leaders. Yesterday the Deputy President of the country, Mme
Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka, visited the Premier in hospital where she has been
recovering for the past few days.

Doctors say they are satisfied with Premier’s recovery. Premier Peters says
she is feeling much better. She will be recovering from home in the next few
days.
