The Northern Cape Youth Commission call on all young people and members of
the public resident in the Northern Cape Province to nominate youth aged
between 14 and 35 years for the Premier's Youth Awards. The awards are awarded
in the categories of:
* Community Youth Service
* Youth Entrepreneurship
* Sports and Recreation
* Arts and Culture
* Science and Technology
* Education
* General Youth Development.
The Premier's Youth Awards pay tribute to youth excellence, recognise and
applaud pockets of distinction and merit within the specified fields. They are
to be awarded annually by the Premier of the Northern Cape Province, honourable
Dipuo Peters.
Nominations can be made by submitting a standard form (PDF) obtainable from
all municipal offices in the Northern Cape, at the offices of the Northern Cape
Youth Commission and Parliamentary Constituency Offices.
Closing date for nominations is 7 June 2006.
