Mr Charles Nqakula will deliver a keynote address at an
official South African Police Service gala event

Balancing the equation: improving service delivery through empowering
leaders (presentation of certificates on skills development)

The honourable Minister for Safety and Security, Mr Charles Nqakula, will
deliver a keynote address at an official South African Police Service gala
event, where forty-eight (48) Station Commissioners from across the country,
who have successfully completed a rigorous six (6) months Station Management
Learning Programme (SMLP), will receive certificates. A representative from the
Belgian Government as well as several SAPS top management personnel will be in
attendance.

A first of its kind in the SAPS, this programme (SMLP) has, as its primary
objectives, to empower station managers with management tools to improve
service delivery and enhance skills, knowledge and creativity, to deal with
internal and external problems.
A photo session will be granted upon request.
