Safety Minister to speak on police oversight

The Minister for Safety and Security, Charles Nqakula, will be delivering a
keynote address on civilian oversight of the South African Police Service at a
gala dinner on Thursday evening.
This precedes a two day workshop organised by the Secretariat for Safety and
Security, with the objective of developing a common understanding and an agreed
framework for conducting oversight via Community Police Forums.
