C Nqakula to brief media on SAPS Annual Report and crime statistics, 27

Minister of Safety and Security, Mr Charles Nqakula will brief
the media at the Union Buildings in Pretoria on the report and crime
statistics

As part of the parliamentary processes, the South African Police Service
(SAPS) will table its annual report, incorporating recent crime statistics, to
Parliament in Cape Town on 27 September 2006. SAPS, led by the Minister of
Safety and Security, Mr Charles Nqakula, will brief the media at the Union
Buildings in Pretoria on the report and crime statistics. The Minister will
also address the Justice, Crime Prevention and Security Cluster Programme of
Action briefing.

The briefing will be as follows:

Date: 27 September 2005
Venue: 159, Union Buildings, Pretoria
Time: 12h00 – 15h00

The media briefing will start with a technical briefing followed by an
address by the Minister of Safety and Security, Mr Charles Nqakula.

There will be a video link up with Cape Town at the Imbizo Media Centre, 120
Plein Street, Parliament.
