C Dugmore to welcome Trafalgar High rugby champions, 15 Dec

World high school touch rugby champions

Trafalgar High, successfully defended their title in Singapore, and will be
welcomed by a celebratory party led by a proud Education MEC, Cameron Dugmore,
tomorrow, Friday, 15 December 2006, about 09h00 at the Cape Town International
Airport.

Trafalgar High School won the tournament last year, beating more than 30
countries. This was the third World All Schools Championships tournament for
high schools, hosted under the auspices of the Federation of International
Touch.

They return with a trophy tomorrow morning, landing at about 08h50 at the
airport. Family, friends, the school and sponsors have organised a colourful
welcoming function at the airport in the Premier Conference Centre, Faranani
Room.

For the first time ever, a Trafalgar girl's rugby team also participated and
reached the semi-finals.
