Water and Sanitation Project in Winterveldt

The Minister of Water Affairs and Forestry, BP Sonjica, MP, together with
the European Commissioner and European Commission Ambassador for Development,
Louis Michelle, will on Monday, 27 February 2006, undertake a site visit to the
Water and Sanitation Project in Winterveldt, North West.
The Winterveldt project is one of the Presidential lead projects identified
in 1994 to provide water and sanitation to approximately a quarter of a million
people. The project includes skills training and assistance in the setting up
of small, medium and micro enterprises (SMMEs).
