B Sonjica to address Women's Month commemoration and delivery of
electricity, 10 Aug and 11 Aug

Ms Buyelwa Sonjica, MP, Minister of Minerals and Energy will as part of the
commemoration of Women’s Month speak at a ceremony in Mossel Bay, Western Cape
on Thursday, 10 August. As August is the month when women are celebrated, there
continues to be a need to reflect on the gains of our country’s democratic
dispensation and more so how this has impacted on women broadly.

Minister Sonjica will also continue to deliver on the mandate of the
Department of Minerals and Energy regarding the delivery of electricity to the

village of Embabe, Mbonambi Local Municipality, KwaZulu-Natal.
