The Minister for Justice and Constitutional Development, Mrs B S Mabandla,
MP, invites the media to the official opening of the Specialised Commercial
Crimes Court in Western Cape.
The event will be held as follows:

Venue: 3rd Floor, Commissioner House, corner Voortrekker and A J West Roads,
Bellville
The court will serve essentially as a one stop court to fight commercial
crimes and bring specialisation to the investigation, prosecution, and
adjudication of these crimes. The first Specialised Commercial Crimes Court was
launched in 1999 and has to date a 94% successful conviction rate. It is a
joint venture of the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development,
National Prosecuting Authority, Business Against Crime and South African Police
Service.
