you to the celebration of Khomanani Community Partnership successes
10 July 2006
Gauteng Department of Health and Khomanani are hosting a special gala dinner
to recognise and honour Khomanani Community Partnership (KCP) members working
at the grass roots level.
A total of 120 KCP members will receive certificates to recognise the role
they play in making a difference in the lives of South Africans infected and
affected by HIV/AIDS.
Dealing with diverse health and social challenges and sometimes working
under harsh circumstances, the KCP teams combine door to door visits with
smaller community meetings to promote behavioural change needed for preventing
and managing HIV/AIDS.
