MEC Creecy to launch learnership programme in sport

The Gauteng MEC for Sports, Arts, Culture and Recreation, Barbara Creecy,
will on Tuesday, 15 August 2006, launch a Sport and Recreation Learnership
Programme through its Mass Participation Programme (MPP).
The main objective of this programme is to create a sustainable livelihood
for the unemployed youth of Gauteng by providing them with practical work
experience in the field of sports and recreation.
The event will take as follows:
