KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison Mr Bheki Cele
will on Tuesday, 4 December 2007, at Mooi River Toll Plaza at 08h00 unveil the
Summer Holiday Road Safety Plan at the launch of the Summer Road Safety Holiday
Campaign.
Cele is also expected to outline the road safety activities to be
implemented throughout the festive season. The Department of Transport has
partnered with three other departments, Health, Community Safety and Arts,
Culture and Tourism for the Summer launch.
"Our mission is to have an accident free, safe and healthy festive season.
We will ensure that 100% Compliance on our roads is the order of the day," said
Cele.
