Preparations for the upcoming 4th World Congress of Rural Women have been
completed and South Africa is ready to welcome the more than 2 000 expected
delegates from across the globe.
The Congress will be held at Durbanâs International Convention Centre from
23 to 26 April, and will be preceded by the African Consultation starting from
19 to 22 April.
Earlier today, the premier of the host province KwaZulu-Natal, Sibusiso
Ndebele, declared his province ready to host a successful congress.
Registration for the event has been closed and participants, including
journalists, are requested to bring along their Identity Documents for
accreditation.
