All media are invited to the 4th World Congress of Rural Women from 23 to 26
April 2007, to be held at the International Convention Centre in Durban. The
Congress is hosted by the South African Government through the Ministry of
Agriculture and Land Affairs in partnership with Civil Society.
The Congress will be preceded by the African Consultative Conference of
Rural Women from 19-22 April 2007 at the same venue for the formulation of the
African position on the WCRW.
RSVP on or before 28 March 2007. Journalists are to arrange their own travel
and accommodation.
