E Rasool meets APRM Task Team ahead of review of Western
Cape

The Premier, Ebrahim Rasool and his EXCO are meeting the African Peer Review
Mechanism (APRM) Task Team this morning as part of the team's two-day visit to
the Province. The African Union established the African Peer Review Mechanism
to foster policies and practices that lead to high economic growth and
political stability on the continent. African countries volunteer to be
reviewed by their peers, while the views of civil society are also taken into
account. The following is their programme of events:

08h30 – 10h00: Meeting with Premier and Executive
10h00 – 11h00: Meeting with National Parliament
11h15 – 12h00: Meeting in Langa/N2 Gateway Project
12h15 – 13h15: Meeting with the Provincial Legislature
13h15 – 14h30: Departure for Look Out Hill - Khayelitsha and lunch with
PGC
14h30 – 14h50: Opening and welcome meeting with the stakeholders
14h50 – 16h30: Commissions
16:30 - 17:00: Plenary and closure
