E Rasool to attend youth sport event, 1 Jul

Premier Ebrahim Rasool will attend a youth sports event, supported by the
Department of Community Safety in Klapmuts under the theme of “Stand up against
crime and make a change”. This event is aimed at alleviating the negative
impact of drugs, alcohol abuse, teenage pregnancies, crime and HIV/AIDS within
this community.

Date: 1 July 2006
Venue: Klapmuts Sports Ground
Time: 10h00

The day's activities will include soccer, rugby, netball, and basketball,
together with jumping castles, music and a variety of other community games.
The organisers will use this event to promote inclusivity and unity amongst the
youth, identify and develop talent, mobilise the youth community and breach
cultural barriers.
