The Space Affairs Act 84 of 1993 intends:
- to provide for the establishment of a Council to manage and control certain space affairs in tlie Republic;
- to determine its objects and functions;
- to prescribe the manner in which it is to be managed and controlled; and
- to provide for matters connected therewith.
