National Environmental Management: Protected Areas Amendment Act 21 of 2014

The National Environmental Management: Protected Areas Amendment Act 21 of 2014 aims:

• to amend the National Environmental Management: Protected Areas Act, 2003, so as:
  • to amend or insert certain definitions;
  • to authorise the declaration of marine protected areas;
  • to provide for the management of marine protected areas;
  • to provide for transitional measures;
  • to effect certain textual alterations; and
• to provide for matters connected therewith.
