The Admiralty Jurisdiction Regulation Amendment Act 87 of 1992 intends:

to amend the Admiralty Jurisdiction Regulation Act, 1983, so as
to define or define anew certain expressions;
to further regulate court procedure;
to extend the powers of the court regarding orders for the attachment of property to found jurisdiction;
to make further provision for the sale of arrested property;
to make express provision for referring claims against a fund to a referee; and
to further regulate the ranking of claims; and
to provide for matters connected therewith.
